Today was a chaotic day for many reasons, including many hours spent trying to fit in an expensive router that I realise doesn’t even offer any additional benefit relative to my previous mesh system, realizing that I had to purchase an expensive Apple TV for my house to serve as a HomeKit hub…

But for what it’s worth, the Korean exam went well!

I had very little time to do it during the course of the day partly because of work, a cello lesson, and the whole router fracas, but managed to get to it at the end of the day.

Honestly it was not easy and the studying was pretty rough, and there were some parts where it just seemed like a series of logical twists rather than an actual exam…

Thankfully there were no questions that were actually like that 😂

Anyway… The score!

That’s a 73/100 since the graded MCQs account for 80 points, and 20 additional points come from the writing section (which has yet to be scored) – the passing score is 60 out of 100; I guess I pass!

Very tired, but very happy with the result – here’s to many more good things in days ahead, I guess!

Making It

As I was practicing the cello this morning, I remember feeling a big sense of frustration that I wasn’t hitting the notes properly. In that moment, I caught myself in an interesting thought: “Shit, Timmy is going to scold me later.” I thought about how my fingers were clumsy and […]

Human in an AI Age.

As Claude Fable is released into the world, I think we have hit a critical point that has made me reflect and recognize that being a human in the AI age… Is just flat out weird. Look at the world around us now.  You open emails, and they’re written with […]

Splitting Focus

One of the things I really wish I could do is split my focus into two. To have my brain just divide up my attention while I’m focusing on other things simultaneously. Wouldn’t it be nice if I could just read that manga while at the same time understanding everything […]

A Small Thought On Equilibria

As you know, I recently lost quite a lot of weight, maintaining all of my muscle ever since the beginning of the year – people consider it a great success and I do as well, but the question arises: Why did I have to lose weight again in the first […]

On Learning From A Mentor

One thing that you learn from being on this planet for a while is that at times, you may actually end up better than a lot of other people at other things, but at the same time you have to be open to learning because others can teach you things […]

A Small Project

A small thing that not everyone might have noticed is this: I’ve lost about 8kg from November till now (we started at 79kg), or 5.7, if you’re looking at the first recorded picture in which I started tracking my journey. I like the idea of weight loss, and how it […]
